Besides participating in recovery with like-minded people and reaping all the wonders, growth, serenity, enjoyment, and health that comes with being an OSAT member, you'll also receive a copy of the Yodel, the official OSAT newsletter filled with all the club has to offer.
Becoming a member is easy. Simply read the Release and Indemnity Agreement and click on the appropriate button below, then print out a copy of the membership application and send in, via regular postal mail, the application along with membership fees. Membership fees are only $12.00 per calendar year. Memberships received after September will be carried over to the following calendar year. Once we receive your application and payment, we will add you to our mailing list and you'll receive a copy of the Yodel in the next mailing cycle. That's all there is to it! Come and join us as we celebrate life in sobriety and recovery!
To be sure and to make no doubt, we have included the Release and Indemnity Agreement here. Please take a minute to read it. On the printed application, this agreement appears again and it is there that you must fill in your name, sign, and date it.

I, (your name here), hereby state that I wish to participated in courses and/or activities offered by ONE STEP AT A TIME (HEREIN REFERRED TO AS OSAT), a nonprofit organization. I recognize that any outdoor activity may involve certain dangers, including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accidents of illnesses in remote places, forces of nature, and the actions of participants and other persons. I fully recognize that mountain climbing and other activities offered by OSAT are VERY DANGEROUS, and participation involves risks and dangers that may result in SERIOUS INJURY, PARALYSIS, DISABILITY, or DEATH. I further understand and agree that without some program providing protection to it's leaders, OSAT would not be able to offer it's courses and activities. In consideration of and as part payment for the right to participate in the activities offered by OSAT, I agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY OSAT and its members from any and all liability, claims and causes of action arising out of or in any way connected with my participation, or the participation of any minor that I am signing on behalf of, in any activities offered by OSAT. I personally assume all risks in connection with these activities. IF I am signing on behalf of a minor, I further agree to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY OSAT and its members from all liability, claims and causes of action which the minor may have arising from the minor's participation in activities. The terms of this agreement shall serve as a release and indemnity agreement for my heirs, personal representative, and for all members of my family, including any minors. (Parents or legal guardians must sign for all persona under eighteen [18] years of age.) |
