Welcome to One Step at a Time
"Keep climbing mountains, and don't slip!"

One Step at a Time (OSAT) is a clean and sober outdoor and mountaineering club.  Our mission is "to provide a clean and sober environment for members and friends of 12-step recovery groups in the spirit of conservation, preservation, and ecology."

Going Up?
No matter what your skill level we think you'll find something fun to do with your fellow OSATers! While mountain climbing and hiking is our primary focus, the club offers a variety of activities and disciplines including snow-shoeing, skiing, running, cycling, rope climbing, walking, and camping. If there's something that you enjoy doing in the great outdoors, send out an email or leave a message on the hotline and see who else might want to join you. Whatever it is, there will most likely be others that will want to join and this could lead to furthering the list of activities that the club has to offer!

The New Look
  ...a message from the webmaster

We are pleased to announce the switch to a new hosting company! On January 25, 2002 we migrated to the new service. This is wonderful in that we now have much more functionality with our site including the capability of e-commerce, secure transactions, password protected folders, databases, and much more. Our storage space went from 15 to 500 Megs and our up and downloads are now unlimited.
Taking a look back, at 4:13 PM, May 4, 1999, the official OSAT Website went live with its own domain, osat.org.  Four design concepts were created and displayed for club members to vote on, and this design was the most popular.  The new look was implemented on May 27, 1999.
Special thanks goes to Chris N. for creating, maintaining, and hosting the original OSAT website for more than two years; we couldn't have done it without you.
